Funeral services held for fallen Florence officer

FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Funeral services were held Sunday for Investigator Farrah Turner of the Florence County Sheriff’s office who died in the line of duty.
She will be buried at the Florence Memorial Gardens, The same cemetery that Sergeant Terrence Carraway was buried three weeks ago.
Thousands of people came out to pay their respects to Investigator Turner.
Florence Police Chief Allen Heidler and Florence County Sheriff Kenny Boone both made remarks at the service.
“Farrah is a hero, not because of her death, but because of what she did in her daily life.” Said Sheriff Boone. “To Farrah, rest easy my sweet girl… We’ll take it from here.”
“Her presence protecting and caring for our county is and will be sorely missed.” Said Chief Heilder.
