WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Say thank you to first responders at Wrightsville Beach at a fundraiser Thursday night.
LM Restaurants is bringing together food, drinks and crowds of people to help those who helped residents during Hurricane Florence.
Lisa Weeks with the Wrightsville Beach Foundation says the money will be distributed to the emergency needs of town employees impacted by the storm, and equipment and supplies for first responders not currently covered in the town budget.
For Marianne Stokes of LM Restaurants the event is a chance to “have a good time and show town workers support for the endless hours they spent helping residents.
The event is Thursday from 4 – 8 pm in the parking lot of Bluewater Grill on Wrightsville Beach. Food will be provided by Bluewater Grill and local breweries will be on hand to sample their fall brews. Also, there will be live entertainment and great raffle items.
Admission is free but a suggested donation of $25 or more is appreciated. If you cannot attend, please consider donating by clicking here.
