CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi Emergency Operations Center (EOC) continues to actively monitor Tropical Storm Beta. Based on the forecast, the city is not expected to experience intense wind speeds that typically destroy or strip vegetation. Therefore, Solid Waste Services does not anticipate a citywide special storm-related brush collection.

Targeted pickup may be provided pending assessment by the city.

Beginning Monday, September 21, Solid Waste crews will resume regularly scheduled brush collections beginning with area 1A (Flour Bluff and Padre Island). Regularly scheduled brush collections in area 9 (Annaville) and 10 (Calallen), are ongoing and will continue until complete.
