Tyler Police rescue 60-year-old man trapped in creek during severe weather

“Their dedication and bravery saved a life last night,” the Tyler Patrolman’s Association said. “This is the heart of service.”
TYLER, Texas — The Tyler Patrolman’s Association said officers rescued an elderly man during severe storms in East Texas.
They said officers learned of a 60-year-old man Saturday who suffered from serious health concerns and hadn’t received his medication. The association said officers were able to find the man trapped in a creek bed, injured and unable to move.
Officers were able to extract the man safely, and was treated by medical professionals.
“Their dedication and bravery saved a life last night,” the Tyler Patrolman’s Association said. “This is the heart of service.”
