Dogs, cats need rescuing from Carteret County Humane Society due to Florence flooding

NEWPORT, N.C. (WTVD) —
The Carteret County Humane Society is in dire need of dog and cat crates to help evacuate the remaining animals.
Shelter Manager Cassandra Tupaj spoke to ABC11 and said they have already evacuated most but there are still some they are waiting to move.

They hope to get all of the animals out late Friday evening.
