RALEIGH
A tornado warning was issued by the National Weather Service about 6:45 p.m. for southern Wake County, northern Harnett County and eastern Chatham County until 7 p.m.
WRAL reports a confirmed tornado was seen 8 miles southwest of Fuquay-Varina. Its impact is unclear, WRAL reports.
