Tropical Storm Hanna: See the storm track on this map as it heads toward Texas landfall

Where is Tropical Storm Hanna?
The storm is expected to make landfall on the Texas coast on Saturday.
Tropical Storm Hanna is expected to produce four to eight inches of rain with some isolated totals of 12 inches in South Texas, according to a Friday morning advisory from the National Hurricane Center.
The area also may see flash flooding and minor river flooding. Residents in the area should expect flooding and take the necessary precautions.
The risk for tornadoes is considered low.
The storm is expected to gradually strengthen as it moves toward the coast and steadily weaken after it moves inland.

As of Friday morning, a tropical storm warning is in effect for the mouth of the Rio Grande to San Luis Pass. A tropical storm watch is in effect from San Luis Pass to High Island.
