Commercial Airlines Cancel Most Flights for Today as Hurricane Hanna Approaches

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The commercial airlines that serve Corpus Christ International Airport (CCIA) have canceled most of the scheduled flights for the remainder of the day.
As Hurricane Hanna gets closer to landfall, the airport remains open to aircraft. Airport operations crews are monitoring the weather conditions and will continue to do so for the duration of the storm.
For now, most scheduled flights are set to operate at CCIA tomorrow, however, that is subject to change depending on weather conditions. If you are scheduled for a flight to or from CCIA in the next couple of days, you should check with your airline for more information.
For more information, media representatives can contact CCIA Marketing Coordinator, Kim Bridger-Hunt, at 361-774-7871 or by email at kimb@cctexas.com.
