ABC11 special report 'First Alert to Severe Weather' to air Saturday
The ABC11 First Alert Weather Team has important information to share about staying safe during turbulent weather.
Spring and summer in North Carolina can be great times to get outside and enjoy nature, but nature is not always receptive. Dangerous severe storms can pop up and create life-threatening situations.
That’s where your First Alert Weather Team comes in.
Chief Meteorologist Don “Big Weather” Schwenneker, Kweilyn Murphy, Steve Stewart and Robert Johnson work around the clock to monitor developing weather situations and keep you ahead of the storms.
On Saturday April 8, the team will present a 30-minute special detailing how they forecast and track storms, as well as revealing some important safety precautions every family should know.
First Alert to Severe Weather, an ABC11 weather special, will begin at 7 p.m. You can watch it on ABC11 or on any of our ABC11 streaming platforms.
