Damage left behind after confirmed tornado in Caldwell County

The tornado was spotted near Rolling Ridge Road near Schuelke, which is the northern part of the county. Some structure damage to an old schoolhouse was reported by officials with Caldwell County’s Office of Emergency Management.
Property owners said the insulation and roof were taken off and that it looked like cotton candy was flying through their backyard, which they believed was caused by the tornado.
Video taken by KVUE viewer Jeff Baker along FM 2001 showed the tornado as it moved through the area. Thankfully, officials say there were no reports of significant damage or injuries.
Drier conditions are expected to push through Central Texas by Thursday evening.
