Houston SPCA providing disaster relief to SPCA Tampa Bay in wake of Hurricanes Helene, Milton

SPCA Tamba Bay requested the assistance of Houston SPCA due to excess animals in its care.
Houston SPCA said it plans to return with nearly 100 pets, including 50 cats, 20 rabbits and guinea pigs, as well as 25 small dogs and puppies to place in the adoption program.
Three sprinter vans and two vehicles holding 13 emergency response team members and other supplies are expected to head to the Tampa Bay area on Tuesday at 4:30 a.m. and return to Houston Thursday evening around 8 p.m.
