Carolina Beach is warning of potential King Tide flooding
CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The Town of Carolina Beach is warning residents of King Tides through Sunday.
Higher than normal tides are expected and can flood some roadways.
Flooding may occur on Canal Drive, Florida Avenue, Virginia Avenue, Georgia Avenue, Winner Avenue, Carolina Beach Avenue North, and other low-lying flood prone areas.
If flooding occurs, some roads may be closed to traffic.
The town reminds residents to use caution and adhere to traffic signs.
Avoid walking or driving through flooded water.
