1 wildfire contained, another continues to burn in Central Texas
A small wildfire is currently active in Williamson County.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas — First responders are currently working to put out a small Central Texas wildfire after they contained another.
According to the Texas A&M Forest Service Incident Viewer, the Open Range Fire is burning across 16 acres in Williamson County and is roughly 90% contained.
Meanwhile, the Bee Creek Fire was active Monday and early Tuesday in Caldwell County, stretching along 10 acres of land and involving two different structures. The fire has been fully contained as of 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
No injuries have been reported as a result of either fire.
These wildfires come as much of the KVUE viewing area is under a “high” to “very high” fire danger risk Tuesday, according to the Forest Service.
