Country music's biggest stars hold 'Concert for Carolina' to help Hurricane Helene victims
Thousands met at the Bank of America Stadium on Saturday for the Concert for Carolina. The country music event was put on to raise money and awareness for those impacted in western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene.
“This is great because they need even more support and it’s going to go on for a long time,” one Charlotte resident said.
The concert saw artists like Luke Combs, Scotty McCreery and Chase Rice take the stage for the cause.
Over $24.5 million has been raised, and the online auction is still going at concertforcarolina.com.
“It’s important to keep in the forefront of our minds that the rebuilding will go on for a long time and I think events like this will remind people that there are still people who need our help,” another person shared.
