All clear from severe weather, nicer weekend ahead

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — All clear from severe weather this evening and throughout the weekend.
Cooler and drier air moves in behind Friday’s storm system, dropping lows to the upper 50s Saturday morning with abundant sunshine and daytime highs in the low 80s. Sunday will see a similar start with an isolated storm chance by the afternoon.
Sunday also begins meteorological summer and the first day of hurricane season!
