Police investigating beating of Florence woman

FLORENCE, S.C. (WPDE) — Police are investigating the beating of a 26-year-old woman Thursday on Curry Lane in Florence, according to Lt. Mike Brandt with the Florence Police Department.
Brandt said the woman was treated at the hospital for her injuries.

Someone captured the beating on cell phone and is being shared on Facebook.
The woman is seen being held to the ground and constantly hitting her in the face and head area.
