US 17 near Shallotte impassable due to flooding

SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) — According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation US 17 at mile marker 17 near Shallotte is impassable due to standing water.
The section of road near Mount Pigsah Road has water blocking both directions.
