We’re tracking hurricane Lorenzo in the tropics.

LORENZO:
Lorenzo was upgraded to a category 5 hurricane Saturday night. This is the strongest a hurricane as ever been east of 55°W Longitude. While this is a historically strong storm, it poses very little threat to any land areas at this time. The storm will continue to weaken in the next few days. The storm may impact Flores Island (Azores) as a weaker hurricane Wednesday.
