Tracking the tropics: Hurricane Lorenzo will head toward England
WASHINGTON — We’re tracking Hurricane Lorenzo in the tropics.
LORENZO:
Lorenzo was upgraded to a Category 5 hurricane Saturday night. There has never been a hurricane this strong east of 55°W Longitude.
The storm will continue to weaken in the next few days. After passing Flores Island (Açores) as a weaker hurricane Wednesday, the storm will then head toward the British Isles, but as a post tropical storm.
