Limited inventory: Carolina Hurricanes ticket sales surge

Raleigh, N.C. — It’s Valentine’s Day, Carolina Hurricanes fans are wearing red for tonight’s face off against the New Jersey Devils for a home game at PNC Arena.
Fans hoping to attend games this year may want to consider buying tickets early — the Canes’ website reads: Limited inventory This event is popular.
With attendance and ticket sales up 35% from last year, the stands are likely to be packed.
Why have thousands more people have been coming to Canes games this year?
Don Waddel, the President and GM for the Carolina Hurricanes, said it’s all about the fan experience. He believes when a fan walks through the doors to see a Carolina Hurricanes game, they should have nothing short of a memorable experience.
There’s also a large amount of momentum from last year’s playoffs.
Last year, Cane’s fans went all out, filling up Glenwood Avenue in a sea of red to show their support during the watch party at Carolina Alehouse.
Waddel said the players are just as excited about all of this hype, saying he thinks the connection between the players and the people in the Triangle area are part of the magic.
The Carolina Hurricanes have even more ideas for how to excite and thrill fans this coming season.
