Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown’s reopening is delayed.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown has delayed its reopening indefinitely in order to follow Harris County health guidlines.
The water park was initially supposed to reopen June 29 with new safety measures in place. Splashtown’s 2020 season opening was delayed due the coronavirus pandemic earlier this year.

A new reopening date will be announced later.
Reservations on Six Flags’ website are currently unavailable for the park. Hurricane Harbor in Arlington, Texas is currently open to visitors.
Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo issued a new stay-at-home advisory June 26. Gov. Greg Abbott ordered all bars to close, restaurants to scale back capacity to 50 percent and for rafting and tubing businesses to close the same day.
