Hurricanes begin delivery of 1,000 meals to health care workers
The Carolina Hurricanes and Blue Cross NC began a plan Wednesday to deliver 1,000 meals to health care workers over a five-week span. Wednesday’s delivery of 200 individually-packaged meals to UNC Health’s WakeBrook behavorial health campus was highlighted by an appearance by Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind’Amour, who assisted with the delivery.
