Whitecap Boulevard Entrance Temporarily Closed for Hurricane Damage Clean-up
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi will temporarily restrict Gulf beach access at Whitecap Boulevard on Thursday, August 13, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. to allow for beach maintenance work to be completed from Hurricane Hanna damage. The restrictions include no access to pedestrian traffic, golf carts and all-terrain vehicles.
The beach maintenance will require the use of heavy machinery on the beach to redistribute the sand moved by Hurricane Hanna to allow for future vehicular access.
