The National Weather Service has not confirmed the tornado at this time but WFMY News 2’s Meteorologist Tim Buckley said it is in fact a tornado.
The National Weather Service will be in the Triad Friday morning to survey the damage and to determine if tornadoes did touch down in the area. They will begin to survey the damage in High Point and work their way to other areas in the Triad.
