UPDATE: Severe weather causing school delays

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Severe weather is causing delays in the Cape Fear Area.
Brunswick County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay for students and staff on Monday, December 18.
A spokesperson with Brunswick County Schools says the decision was made out of an abundance of caution and to ensure bus driver visibility in the morning.
Brunswick Community College announced all campus locations will open at 10 am on Monday, including the Dinah E. Gore Sports & Aquatics Complex.
Whiteville City Schools will operate on a two-hour delay.
