At least 25 people are dead in Mississippi, and one person in Alabama, after a tornado touched down just after sundown Friday.

Tornadoes killed over two dozen people in Mississippi over the weekend. Storm chaser Aaron Rigsby was in Rolling Fork, Mississippi, when the tornadoes touched down and witnessed the storm firsthand. He shared his story with CBS News.

A powerful storm swept through the South over the weekend, bringing a deadly tornado with it. At least 13 people were killed in the small town of Rolling Fork, Mississippi. Omar Villafranca reports.

“Both have now been found, tranquilized, and safely returned to a secure enclosure,” the zoo said.

“How anybody survived is unknown by me,” said Rodney Porter, who lives 20 miles south of Rolling Fork, Mississippi, which was devastated by the tornado.
