Tropical Storm Eta hits Florida, forecast to move offshore, strengthen, strike again
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The record-breaking hurricane season continues with Tropical Storm Eta becoming the 12th named storm to make landfall in the United States. Prior to 2020, the most named storms to make landfall in the US in a single hurricane season was 9 in 1916.
