After today, rain chances drop dramatically as a ridge of high pressure build back in. This will bring back above average temperatures for the Houston area but also lots of sunshine for the weekend. We seem to remain under the influence of this ridge through the start of next week which will keep us pretty dry as well.
Check out the latest drought monitor! This is great news considering we were recently seeing many spot under a moderate to severe drought at the beginning of the spring season.
