Possible tornado damage in Texas City after severe storms

TEXAS CITY, Texas — A possible tornado hit Texas City Wednesday night after severe storms rolled through the area.
There was damage to the Brazos Urethane building on 6th Street North. The road was closed while crews moved debris.
Texas City ISD said due to storm damage, classes are canceled for Thursday at Kohfeldt and Calvin Vincent. District officials said power is out at Levi Fry, Roosevelt-Wilson Elementary and Blocker and is expected to be restored overnight. An announcement regarding those schools will be made Thursday morning.
