AUSTIN, Texas — Wet and chilly conditions continue across Central Texas on Friday.

We experienced a soggy Thursday with many areas picking up 1″-3″+ of beneficial rainfall since Wednesday night. So far, this has been all beneficial with only minor reports of flooding. With that being said, we still need to keep an eye out for possible flooding on Friday, mainly for areas southeast of Austin.

A Flood Warning is in effect for Middle Yegua Creek until 2 p.m. Sunday as minor flooding is expected.

Scattered showers and storms on Friday morning will grow more widespread with additional rain and storms developing later in the morning and afternoon.

Friday will be slightly drier than Thursday, but we’re still expecting widespread coverage of showers and storms through the day with afternoon highs only hovering in the lower 50s. The last of the rain will move out early Saturday, and the rest of the weekend is looking much nicer.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy and cool with a high in the upper 60s. Easter Sunday will bring a mix of clouds and sunshine and afternoon temperatures in the mid-70s.
