Carolina Hurricanes score partnership with Fanatics Sportsbook, fans cash In

It’s a Canes night at Backyard Bistro Thursday. Red and white flow freely as Carolina took on the New York Islanders in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
This year’s games come with a brand new twist, sports betting.
“It’s been interesting, all apps came out last month,” Dana Connor, Canes Fan, said.
Dana Connor has been familiarizing herself with the new craze.
The Caniac is more focused on the game now that there’s money on the line.
“I bet that the third period is going to be the highest winning period and I bet Aho would score a goal. Fingers crossed!” Connor said.
The Carolina Hurricanes clinched a winning partnership with Fanatics Sportsbook just as they clinched that epic comeback win on Monday night.
Remember that game? Down 3-1 to the Islanders in the third, the Canes stormed back for a thrilling 5-3 victory.
Looks like their winning streak extends beyond the ice now that they have Fanatics Sportsbook on their team, with sports betting becoming legal in North Carolina this March.
Wade Moore got to cash in on the dramatic win.
“Money line parlayed with Aho scoring, that was good $300 something,” Wade Moore, Canes Fan said.
He chose not to put money up with the Canes playing away.
“My philosophy is if I’m not there, I’m not betting,” Wade Moore, Canes Fan said.
And if you’re just catching on to the craze, here’s some advice from a newbie.
“Only bet $10 at a time; that’s what I do; if you get $20 out of it, it’s $20 more bucks than you had!” Dana Connor said.
Game 4 is this upcoming Saturday.
