Martin Pool closed for repairs after storm damage

But Martin Pool, at 1626 Nash Hernandez Sr. Road near East Cesar Chavez, is closed for repairs.
The city said the repairs are due to storms that happened on Sunday, Aug. 4. The storm caused tree limbs to break and fall, damaging the electrical pole for the entire pool facility, and the pool can’t operate until repairs are completed.
Officials do not know when the pool will be back open.
The Metz, Parque Zaragoza and Govalle city pools will still be open until the end of the season. For Metz and Parque Zaragoza, that means Sunday, Aug. 11, while Govalle will remain open on weekdays through Aug. 18 and weekends only through Sept. 2.
