STEP program deadline for Hurricane Florence victims is Thursday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Sheltering and Temporary Essential Power, or STEP program, provides temporary, partial repairs at no cost to homeowners so Hurricane Florence survivors can return to and remain in their homes while longer-term repairs continue.
The deadline to sign up for the program is Thursday.

The program is designed to provide repairs to homes that received $17,000 in damage or less.
