Pictures show before and after flooding in N.C.
WASHINGTON, N.C. – New images are pouring in as Tropical Strom Florence unleashes dangerous flooding Across North Carolina.
Photos taken in two locations in the town of Washington, North Carolina.
The town is about 40 miles north of hard-hit New Bern, N.C. and 130 miles north of Wilmington, where Hurricane Florence made landfall as a Category 1 storm early Friday morning.
Between 25 and 30 inches of rain has fallen in the area, causing widespread floods.

Flooding will continue to be a major problem in the Carolinas, at least through Tuesday.
Florence is expected to sit over the area through the early part of next week before moving into the northeast.
