A tornado watch is in effect until 10 p.m. Wednesday for much of Central Texas, including Williamson and Burnet counties. Travis County is not currently under any watches or warnings. A few tornadoes, widespread hail up to the size of softballs and winds up to 75 miles per hour are possible in the watch area tonight, the National Weather Service says. PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — Texas lived up to its reputation as “Flash Flood Alley” with the severe storms Thursday evening.  Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2 and the Pflugerville Fire Department rescued 16 people from cars in Williamson and Travis Counties.
