HOUSTON – Wednesday is the calm before the storm for the Houston area. Expect mainly cloudy skies with warm and humid conditions. CHEROKEE COUNTY, Texas — The death toll has now climbed to four in the area around the city of Alto. A three and eight year old reportedly died in a car in Angelina County. FRANKLIN, Texas — People were trapped in badly damaged homes as a tornado ruined a significant portion of Franklin, Texas on Saturday.  The National Weather Service confirmed it was an EF-3 tornado at peak intensity, with winds of 140 mph. Radar signatures consistent with a damaging tornado were observed across Robertson and Leon Counties.
