Remnants of Tropical Storm Imelda produces flooding rains in southeast Texas
The remnants of what was Tropical Storm Imelda continues to produce flooding rains in southeast Texas. Doppler Radar is estimating some spots received over 30 inches of rainfall over the past two days.

The system is expected to continue to move north through East and northeast Texas on Friday, bringing heavy rain through that part of the state.

For Central Texas, widely scattered showers are in the forecast for Friday with highs in the mid-90s. Isolated shower chances with highs in the mid-90s are expected this weekend.
