CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Mooresville-based animal rescue announced they will open an emergency shelter for pets affected by Hurricane Dorian this week.  Piedmont Animal Rescue posted to its Facebook page that it will open a new shelter on Tuesday, September 3.
