DARE COUNTY, N.C. — Dare County and Hyde County residents and visitors are under mandatory evacuation orders as Hurricane Dorian barrels toward parts of the southeast. More than 1,000 Florida Highway Patrol troopers are working long hours on the east coast ahead of Hurricane Dorian.
