Tornado touchdowns confirmed in Tomball, Eagle Lake, La Grange, NWS says

HOUSTON – The National Weather Service has rated three tornado touchdowns during Friday’s thunderstorms.  An EF0 tornado touchdown down in Eagle Lake another in Tomball, and an EF2 touched down in La Grange.  The damage in the Kingwood area was determined to be from straight line winds. HOUSTON — A tornado briefly touched down in Tomball on Friday, the National Weather Service confirmed. There were no reports of injuries. The length of its path is unknown, according to KHOU 11 Meteorologist Blake Mathews.  A tornado also touched down near Eagle Lake in Colorado County.
