A new program is about to begin that will help homeowners struggling to recover after Hurricane Harvey who were not reimbursed or had to pay for repairs out of pocket. Applications for the Homeowner Reimbursement Program and the Homeowner Assistance Program will be available on December 3, 2018. The programs are being administered by the Texas General Land Office. The Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund is disbursing the last round of grants to local flood victims. The fund was established by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and Harris County Judge Ed Emmett last year to help with disaster relief, whether it was an immediate medium or long-term need.
